Chloe Kerby - Early Childhood Educator & Aspiring Music Specialist Chloe Kerby is a dedicated early childhood educator currently working in long-day care childcare service, where she specialises in nurturing and education preschool-aged children. With a deep-rooted passion for music and early learning, Chloe brings a unique blend of educational care and musical enrichment into her classroom, creating engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.Chloe's musical journey began at the age of eight when she studied flute and music analysis as part of her primary school band. At ten, she began private studies under the AMEB ( Australian Music Examinations Board) syllabus, a pursuit she has continued through to Grade 6 level. She also studied music electives during years 8 and 9 of high school, further developing her theoretical and practical musical knowledge. Currently, Chloe is completing her Diploma in music while continuing advanced studies in AMEB Grade 6 and preparing for further progression into Grade 6 musicianship and beyond. With a strong foundation in early childhood education and passion for fostering musical expression in young learners, Chloe has developed a specialised skills set in introducing music to children during their formative years. Her approach is informed by both her professional experience and her extensive personal studies in music. Chloe aspires to continue her dual career path- supporting early learning and advancing musical education -while making a meaningful impact in the lives of young children through music.

I am currently studying my Diploma in music at university where I am obtaining skills as music professional to complete my goal of being a music teacher.  I am particularly enjoying the performance part of the course and honing my skills as musician.

In 2016 I began studying my Bachelors in early childhood where I acquired extensive knowledge in supporting families within early childhood particularly in children's growth and development.
